The Oaks Day nursery hold a Bertie Bears Picnic

The Oaks Day Nursery, in Selly Oak, Birmingham, were inspired to organise a Teddy Bears’ Picnic in support of our hospital after six-month-old Thomas, a child in their care, received a shocking diagnosis of infant botulism – an incredibly rare and life-threatening infection that has affected only a handful of people in the UK in recent decades.

Staff, children and their families enjoyed an afternoon of fundraising, family fun, and lots of delicious home-made treats, raising £250 for our hospital.
