About the Event

Sunday 3 May 2026 sees the Great Birmingham Run 10k and half marathon come together again on one exciting day. Our city will come alive with thousands of runners pounding the streets as they tick off 10k or 13.1 miles, encouraged by on-course bands and entertainment.

By joining #TeamBCH, you aren't just running a race; you’re running to change the lives of the brave children and families at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a first-time fundraiser, this event is designed for everyone. Choose your distance and experience an electric atmosphere starting in the city centre and finishing at the vibrant Smithfield event hub.

Route Information

All routes wind through the famous streets of Birmingham, taking in the historic Jewellery Quarter, Bournville (for the Half Marathoners), and the city's unique canal-side paths. The course is fully marshalled, signposted, and supported by medical teams to ensure a safe and spirited race day.

Registration opens at 8:00 AM. Please arrive early to collect your race pack and warm up. The event starts promptly at 9:00 AM.
